Part 1 of 2 part training for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Volunteers from United Way of Passaic County, New Hope Community Ministries, and Bergen Volunteer Center and are welcome. Space is limited so please RSVP for the training.
No tax preparation experience is necessary. But volunteers need to be reasonably computer literate to prepare taxes. This training is two parts and will guide volunteers through the certification process for the VITA Standards of Conduct test and Basic Tax Law Certification.
Part 2 of the Training will be on Saturday December 14th.
