The UWPC Winter Wishes: Gift Wrapping Fundraiser is here to help spread some festive cheer this holiday season and raise money to continue to create opportunity and empowerment in the areas of health, education, finances and community resilience for residents of Passaic County! Join us at Willowbrook Mall for a fun-filled day of wrapping gifts for a great cause. You’ll not only help make the season brighter for others but also be a part of making a real difference in the lives of your neighbors. Volunteer with us and enjoy the opportunity to give back while having fun!
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to fill a variety of important roles. Check out the descriptions below to see which role fits you best!
1. "Wrap Stars"
Role Description: Do you have the gift of wrapping? As a Wrap Star, you’ll help bring holiday magic to life by wrapping gifts with care, creativity, and flair. We’ll provide all the tools to create beautifully wrapped presents.
Responsibilities: Wrap gifts, tie ribbons, add finishing touches, and make sure each gift is wrapped to perfection.
Requirements: A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a love for spreading holiday joy through your wrapping skills.
2. "Jolly Greeters"
Role Description: As a Jolly Greeter, you’ll be the first face guests see when they arrive at the mall. Greet everyone with enthusiasm and direct them to fundraising location. Your warm and welcoming spirit will set the tone for a cheerful wrapping experience.
Responsibilities: Welcome guests as they arrive inside the mall and inform them of the fundraiser and direct them to the wrapping station.
Requirements: A friendly, approachable demeanor and a great smile.
3. "Holiday Helpers" Information Givers
Role Description: As a Holiday Helper, you’ll assist guests by answering questions, and providing information about the efforts and initiatives of United Way of Passaic County and other ways they can volunteer and donate.
Responsibilities: Answer questions about UWPC, assist with engaging with people while they wait for their gift to be wrapped.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills and a love for helping others during the holiday season.
