New Jersey Connected in Volunteering

New Jersey consists of regional, one-stop resource shops where Volunteers can get involved in their communities and nonprofits can find the People, Know-How, and Resources they need to help solve serious social problems.

Volunteer and United Way organizations across New Jersey help nonprofits recruit valuable volunteers, recognize them, and rally the community around important volunteer initiatives – including disaster response efforts.

Some Centers also help with: the Know-How – by offering training and technical assistance support to help make nonprofits, boards of directors, and volunteer programs stronge; and Resources - provide information and access to funders and funding opportunities to help build sustainability in community organizations.
