Internship for Masters of Social Work (MSW)

• Must be working towards MSW, LCSW, LSW, or Licensed Professional Counselor.

Job description for volunteers and interns:

Assist in fundraising and event organizing

Be active in relations between volunteer's schools and the organization

Notary Public Services Assist in counseling domestic abuse perpetrators in anger

Assist in counseling individuals dealing with anger management.

Assist in counseling parenting classes

Raise awareness of the organization at your college/university by distributing brochures, flyers and notifying them of the events etc.

Attend events and meetings as per director's instruction and report the proceedings

Spread the word with friends, families and neighbors

Draft letters and memos as well as grant writing if bilingual, help translating oral communications and documents

Help in office management and record keeping

Help children with homework

Find clients jobs

Educate individuals on cultural tolerance

Volunteer time at food pantries

Perform any other task assigned by the director -Fundraising -Grant writing -Supervision of volunteers -Contacting officials -Reporting to courts
