Under supervision of Strategic Communications Manager, Social Media Support Intern will coordinate New Destiny’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), establish social media communication and marketing plan, generate engaging social media content, and present and lead new initiatives to increase visibility and participation in events, programs, and services.
- Attend New Destiny events as directed
- Social medial platform maintenance
- Write, format and post articles
- Create social media content respective to platform audience
- Create fliers, marketing, and advertising tools for events and services
- Create, maintain, and implement social media campaigns for fundraising
- Increase the audience and visibility of New Destiny via each respective platform.
- Communicate with audience via DMs, Tweets, Messaging, etc., within established timeframe
- Establish posting frequency for each respective platforms; develop content calendar for respective platforms
- Provide monthly reports of platform analytics and viable creative ideas to expand use of social media
